My Song, My Way

Known for their sponsorship during the NFL Super Bowl, Burger King wanted an innovative promotion that will allow sports and entertainment fans a new way to leverage new media tools. ShockTheory conceptualized and developed My Song, My Way contest as the answer to their request.

The program, launched in conjunction with Super Bowl Gospel Celebration is an online contest that allowed contestants a chance to win a VIP trip to Super Bowl, perform live onstage with the NFL Players Choir and to live the Super Star lifestyle for the entire weekend.

To transform this idea and bring it to life, ShockTheory created a micro-site that enabled contestants to create a profile, upload their video, then promote their video entry to their family and friends. The platform calculated votes and kept the top 10 videos on the homepage, while actively allowing consumers to virally send their favorite picks via an interactive invitation to other consumers.
